Certificate of Insurance

Insurance Requirement for NJISRA Participation

To ensure the safety of athletes and proper risk management for all NJISRA trainings and competitions, all member schools participating in the ski season are required to provide proof of insurance coverage as follows:

  1. Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI): Each school must submit a current certificate of general liability insurance covering all ski team activities for the season.
  2. Additional Insured: NJISRA must be listed as an additional insured on the school’s liability policy for the duration of the season. This includes practices, competitions, and other team activities conducted under the auspices of the school.
  3. Submission Deadline: Certificates must be submitted to NJISRA prior to the first competition or by January 1st, whichever comes first.
  4. Coverage Requirements: The policy must provide adequate general liability coverage for athletes, coaches, and school-provided facilities used for ski activities.

This requirement is intended to protect both NJISRA and member schools and to ensure consistent standards of safety and accountability across the league. Participation in NJISRA events will not be permitted until the certificate and additional insured documentation are received and approved.
